Every single day I read about code quality, AI danger, AI excitement, losing jobs, getting jobs, spending tokens and free tokens. Let's try to live with this and make it something valuable, without losing control, fun and job.

## Why today's coding drains engineers

Fun is lost. Layoffs and career risk. The hard part of code review. Need for speed.

## What can we do about that

Sometimes code manually. Tiny chunks keep you in control. Hire a stupid friend. Not all engineers will be needed but try to be the one.

## Summary

This approach worked for me on complex projects with many layers, multiple people and a large codebase that grows every single day.
